Cable Modem Computer Configuration Guide
The following configuration instructions should assist you in connecting
your home computer to the Caltech CITnet network, and thus the Internet,
via the Charter/Caltech Cable Modem Service. If you require further assistance
with initial configuration or wish to have someone doublecheck your setup,

Configuration Instructions
Users of the Caltech-Charter Cable Modem Service should be using DHCP,
dynamic addressing, rather than a Static IP Address issued by Hostmaster.
