Directory Lookup Configuration for Unix Legacy

Unix Legacy 

1.  Once pine is started, press “S” from the “Main Menu” to get into the setup screen.

 
2.  On the setup screen, press “D” to get into the “Directory” screen.

 
3.  Press “A” to add a directory server.

 
4.  Enter the following values on the “Add A Directory Server” screen:
    ldap-server: directory.caltech.edu
    search-base: ou=people,ou=imss,o=caltech,c=us
    port: leave default (389)
    nickname: your preference
    These values are added by highlighting the line to change and then pressing “A” for “Add Value”.

 
5.  Press “E” to exit the setup screen.  Press “Y” to “Commit changes”.  Press “E” once more to exit the last setup screen.
