The Caltech Network infrastructure provides eligible users with access to wired and wireless networking, Dial-Up accces, and Remote Access (VPN).
Wired network access is available through the different buildings on campus. As a rule of thumb, you will see wall plates labeled with an "A" jack, which are, for the most part, activated for wired access.
Wireless network access is also available throughout campus. Visit the Caltech Wireless Network page to learn more.
For assistance on connecting to the Caltech network from off campus, please refer to our Remote Access information page.
In an effort to provide a secure and reliable networking environment, we reserve the right to monitor network activity to aid in the solving of problems encountered with or on the CITnet.
