Office 365 Email Forwarding

This guide ONLY applies to those using Office 365 email and calendar. If you are unsure if you are using Office 365 email and calendar, please contact the Help Desk.

If necessary, you may forward your Office 365 Exchange email to another email account. To do so, follow these steps:
  • Log in to Office 365 Exchange via
  • On the Microsoft Log in page, enter (USERNAME = access.caltech username)
  • You will be redirected to the Caltech Office 365 log in page
  • Enter your username as (USERNAME = access.caltech username) and password to log in
  • Once logged in on the top right corner click on the Settings wheel and select Options. Alternatively, you may need to click on Mail instead of Options.
  • The Mail options window will now open
  • On the left, under Mail, and under Accounts, click Forwarding

  • Enter the email address that you want to forward your email to
  • If necessary, select the option to Keep a copy of forwarded messages in Outlook Web App. By enabling this option a copy of your email will be stored in Office 365 Exchange
  • Click Save
