IMSS is excited to announce the launch of the new Caltech ServiceNow Portal, our new centralized platform for technology support and service requests.
Beginning today, the ServiceNow Portal will replace Caltech Help for IMSS ticketing and support requests. The new platform provides a more modern and streamlined experience for submitting requests, tracking progress, and accessing technology services.
If you are currently requesting IMSS help by sending email to [email protected], you can continue to do so. Help tickets created on or after May18th will be processed in the new ServiceNow Portal.
You may create a ticket using the Caltech ServiceNow Portal at https://servicenow.caltech.edu. In addition, the link is available on access.caltech.edu home page and in the Self Service section.
Through the new ServiceNow Portal, you will be able to:
- Submit IT support requests
- Track the status of your requests in real time
- Access technology-related services from a centralized location
- Communicate directly with IMSS support staff through your requests
- Receive improved updates and notifications regarding your tickets
What happens to Caltech Help? Caltech Help will no longer be used for new IMSS support requests. Existing tickets in Caltech Help will continue to be worked on until they are completed. Other groups such as Card Office, Procurement, and Campus Security will continue to use the older Caltech Help system.
