Instructions to Report an Issue or Problem
Information Security should be notified as soon as possible of any device or account security incident or concern.
- Email: email@example.com. If your question is about a suspicious email message you received, you can forward that message or send it as an attachment to this address.
- Online: visit https://help.caltech.edu and open an Information Security ticket.
- Phone: If your email or internet access is not working, please call the Help Desk at x3500 or 626-395-3500 (Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM).
While you wait
If you believe your account may be compromised, change your password immediately. You can do this by logging in to access.caltech and selecting "Manage my password" from the top menu. If you were using that password for any other accounts, please change it on those accounts as well, to something else. Your access.caltech password should be unique and not reused for any other accounts.
If you believe your device has been infected with malware, immediately power it off completely until it can be examined.
