DUO "Remember Me" Feature
Effective March 25, IMSS will enable Duo's "Remember Me" feature, which reduces the number of times you need to authenticate with Duo. Users will see either a "Remember me" or "Is this your device?" prompt when authenticating with Duo. When selected, users will not be challenged for Duo authentication when they log in again to the same application, from the same device, for a set period of time.
This feature will initially be available when using Duo to log in to some access.caltech and shibboleth-enabled single-sign on applications. The "Remember Me" feature will last up to 16 hours, but IMSS may adjust this time period as needed. If closing or switching to a new browser, or if browser cookies are cleared or not allowed, users may still be prompted for Duo authentication within 16 hours.
