Sending email to everyone at Caltech

There are a number of ways to communicate information to the Caltech community. They include email, print mail, and other methods described below.
Directory Mailer Application
The Directory Mailer is web-based access.caltech application for sending campus-wide email communications to one or more groups, using directory.caltech.edu as its authoritative source for directory information and group membership.
There are many distribution groups available: faculty, staff, postdocs, graduate students, undergraduate students, and external affiliates. The faculty, graduate student, and undergraduate student groups are further divided by type or year of study, so that, for example, a mailing can be sent to only research faculty or only juniors. Mailings can also be sent to any combination of available groups.
Permission to use the Directory Mailer must be granted by one of individuals listed in the table below who represent the recipient groups.
