Removing Symantec from Windows

There are two options to uninstall Symantec from Windows. Please review and follow the preferred option.

Option 1

1. Select Windows Key + I to open the Settings menu
2. Select Apps
3. Select Symantec Endpoint Protection
4. Select Uninstall

5. NOTE: During the uninstall process, the following Notification Message warnings may appear. Ignore them for now.

6. Restart the computer

Option 2

1. Open or Search for Control Panel
2. Select Programs > Uninstall a program
3. Highlight Symantec Endpoint Protection
4. Select Uninstall

5. NOTE: During the uninstall process, the following Notification Message warnings may appear. Ignore them for now.

6. Restart the computer
